I'm back with my 3rd blog post. This week we are doing the same topic of rainforest but a different book, called The Most Beautiful Roof in the World. This book is about a woman called Meg Lowman and her job is to study plants in the rainforest.
We are seeing what Meg does to find the plants and what she did when she was a kid and much more. For example, when she was a kid, she had lots of plant collection and was in the science fair. This made her want to have the job that she has today.
We also talked about what do people think about what she did. Meg would get plants and she would see how they look and what is the size and to see what happen over time. She does this thing called pickling to keep the plants in the same shape in her plant library.
I asked my class these questions...
What do you think of Meg?
Jeremy: I think that Meg is good at what she does. Also Meg got many good idea.
What does Meg do when she is working?
Jacob: Meg will go on the top of the trees and see what is at the top and see whatever she can see. Meg would also take plant from the forest and take to her lab and see what is the shape and she would also see what size it is and what would see what happen over time.
See you in 2019!!
